Four acts.
One promise.

Most web developers focus on selling you services. I focus on who is locked out of your website. By designing for them first, we make the entire site better for everyone.

The Four Acts

Listen Without Jargon

Many development teams enter the discovery phase with rigid assumptions about what to build. I take a different approach. I start every project by asking one crucial question: who gets left out if we build this using standard, default methods?

Instead of overwhelming you with wireframes and complex plans, we begin with an honest conversation in plain language to define the core problems you need to solve.

Design at the Edges

Websites typically break at the edges—under unusual or difficult conditions. We design for these challenging scenarios first. What if a user has a temporary injury, a slow cellular connection, or is viewing the screen in direct sunlight? By solving these difficult problems first, we ensure the final website is seamless and easy for everyone else to use.

Build Human-First

Every design choice—from buttons and labels to error alerts—must pass what I call the "one bad day" test: will this interface still make sense if a user is tired, distracted, stressed, or navigating with a disability?

We write clean, efficient code that is easy to maintain, resulting in fast load times, clear text, and helpful messages. Throughout the process, we keep you updated so you always know exactly where we stand.

Test in the Real World

Effective testing goes beyond basic browser compatibility and standard quality assurance checklists. It requires testing with assistive technology, evaluating different cognitive conditions, and gathering feedback from real people.

I personally test websites using screen readers like Windows Narrator, keyboard-only navigation, and color-blindness filters. Lived experience has shown me exactly what standard checklists miss.

Even after your site launches, our partnership continues. I remain available to help you manage updates, answer questions, and address any real-world feedback your users share.

Problem-first, not service-first

We won't upsell you on unnecessary tools or features. Instead, we identify what is actually broken and provide an honest, direct path to fix it.

Plain language throughout

We avoid confusing technical jargon. Every update is written in clear, accessible language, explaining exactly how the changes benefit your users.

Transparency over polish

I will be direct with you about what works, what is challenging, and what I don't know. A transparent, honest partnership always delivers better results than polished sales pitches.
